Drop-ins: The Riding Club does allow for non-members to drop in for a ride for $25.00 per horse per day.  This option is not available if the club grounds are closed for any reason. Please check our website on the News of the Day, KRC Calendar, and or Facebook for Club availability.

To drop-in you must have a HCBC current number,
fill out a waiver form and leave a cheque or cash  in the box provided on the Clubhouse porch.  Waiver form: Kelowna-Riding-Club-Waiver-Formfill

Kelowna Riding Club

The beautiful Kelowna Riding Club grounds are available for partial or exclusive rental for members and non-members and drop-ins. We are located at 3745 Gordon Dr. in the lower Mission Area.

BYOB&B – Bring Your own Bed & Bales
The riding club is happy to welcome horses and campers in transit or visiting Kelowna for a few days on the grounds.  Stalls and shavings are available and washrooms with showers. No electrical hook-up provided.  During shows and clinics, this may not be possible due to the number of competitors.  COVID restrictions may also affect our ability to host horses and camping.  Horses coming on to the grounds should be vaccinated and the owner should have that proof with them.

Emergency Evacuation: During fire season the KRC stalls may be used for emergency short- term stays. KRC Evacuation Stay Form

The following KRC Boarding & Training Facilities sponsors are willing to help house Evacuated horses if at the time of need they have space available.  Please note that these are all boarding and training barns and will require vaccination records for all horses.  Please be sure to organize these records and keep them handy should you need to move quickly.  If you have misplaced them now is the time to call your Vet and get those records sent to you.

Renting Space

Renters are required to fill out and present a facility booking request form. A completed KRC rental agreements then drawn up and signed prior to event day. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon filling out rental agreement. Rental fees are to be paid within one week of booking date. 

Kelowna Riding Club Rental & Clubhouse

The Kelowna Riding Club and clubhouse are available for rent at reasonable rates. Enjoy special occasions and events in a beautiful setting. There is plenty of space to meet a variety of needs. Stalls are available to accommodate up to 75 horses, plus we have a dressage ring, jumper ring, hunter ring, lunge ring and round pen. The KRC clubhouse provides full kitchen and washroom facilities. 

KRC COVID POLICY – September 2021

The Kelowna Riding Club is pleased to be able to provide the local community and opportunity to rent the grounds and clubhouse to both members and non-members for partial or exclusive rental and welcomes your requests.

Due to COVID, however, the club grounds are under orders from both the Provincial & Interior Health Authorities as to what can be managed on the grounds.

As of September 1st, COVID policy is allowing outdoor activities to take place with a COVID safety plan in place and no more than 100 participants. It is encouraged that you recommend people sanitize and maintain social distancing indoors. Masks indoors are mandated by Interior Health. Please recognize that health orders may change and if so, we may need to cancel the event.

Our experience at KRC for our clinic was amazing.  The size of the arena was perfect as it allowed for 10 obstacles to be set up and yet had room for warming up.  Paul was most accommodating in preparing the footing by harrowing and watering and was very pleasant to deal with.  On top of that, the weather was perfect!  Thanks, KRC for a great weekend.  Plus we introduced more people to Working Equitation.

Your Rental Agreement Provides:
* Arena Watering: Watering is done automatically at 6 am, 12-noon, and
5 pm. Each area takes about 25 minutes. If this schedule interferes
with your planned events, please notify us a minimum of 1 week in
advance of your event.

* Arena harrowing: The arenas are harrowed in the am and pm only unless
by prior arrangements and this may increase your rental cost.

* Manure removal: There are buckets and forks provided at the side of
the arena and it is the responsibility of the renter to remove all
manure from the arena. At the end of your event please dumped into the
assigned manure pile.

* Stalls and shavings are available but must be booked on your form:

* Garbage cans are provided.

* Washrooms will be open and supplied for your use during any event.


Your Event Organizers are Responsible For:
* Manure removal: It is the responsibility of the renter to remove all
manure from the arena. There are buckets and forks provided at the side
of the arena and at the end of your event please dumped into the
assigned manure pile at the end of the event.

* Stalls: They must be left clean, and it is the responsibility of the
event organizer to ensure this is done. If not, you will forfeit your
deposit.

* The grounds and the arena must be left clean, and garbage put into
the provided trash cans.

* Washrooms and Clubhouse: Please be respectful and understand that any
graffiti done during your rental that requires repair will be charged
back to your organization.
